Privacy Policy
This policy explains what LexiGrove collects, why it is needed and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile image where available. We store your selected or assessed CEFR level, lesson results, word difficulty, review dates and learning streak.
Guest learning
If you use LexiGrove without signing in, your level and learning progress remain in this browser's local storage. They are sent to your LexiGrove account only when you choose to sign in and save them. You can clear guest data at any time from Learning settings.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, personalise vocabulary lessons, schedule reviews and synchronise progress between devices. We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and service providers
LexiGrove runs on Cloudflare. Account and learning information is stored in Cloudflare D1, while Google provides authentication. These providers process technical information needed to deliver and secure the service.
Advertising and cookies
LexiGrove uses Google AdSense to fund the service. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and similar technologies to deliver, measure and limit advertising, prevent fraud and, where you consent, personalise ads. Depending on your location and choices, you may instead receive non-personalised or limited ads.
Advertising consent
Visitors in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland are shown Google's consent message where required. You can consent, refuse consent or manage individual options. You can revisit or withdraw your advertising choices using the privacy choices link supplied by Google on the site. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Google's use of information
Google may process information collected through advertising services in accordance with its own policies. You can learn more from How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and manage advertising preferences through My Ad Center.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information while your account is active. You can permanently remove your account and learning data from Learning settings. Limited security or operational records may remain where legally required.
Your choices
You can view or change your level, retake the assessment and delete your account. To request access, correction or help with your data, contact support@lexigrove.com.
